The Royal Customs House, now the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance houses on its roof a chime clock of thirteen bells from 1930, completely in disuse, whose forging structure is corroded by the elements and its hammers are seized by rust.

The Conservation Management of the Ministry of Finance awards Campanas Quintana the task of building a new, safer and weather resistant metal structure, as well as cleaning the bells and putting three of them into use, using electric hammers, to provide of hours and quarters chime to the dependencies of the Ministry. For this purpose, the old structure is dismantled and the bells are moved to our offices in Saldaña.

After the work is done, the new stainless steel structure is installed in its original lodging.
